NEW!
Our Musical Theatre program is playful, welcoming, collaborative, and highly interactive, designed to help students feel comfortable taking creative risks while discovering the world of musical theatre. The overall approach balances fun and exploration with practical skill-building, creating an environment where students can learn and grow.

Classes will emphasize camaraderie and connection, using games, ensemble activities, and creative exercises to break down personal walls and build confidence within the group. Musical theatre will be introduced in an accessible, interest-driven way, meeting students where they are—whether their frame of reference is Disney, Broadway, animation, film, or something else—and expanding their understanding from there.
Instruction in acting, singing, and musical-theatre movement will combine technical guidance with learning through discovery. Students will have opportunities to experiment, play, and make creative choices while still developing concrete skills they can carry into future performance work.
The group will collaboratively develop a recital piece, with student interests and ideas helping shape the material. Time in most classes will be dedicated to rehearsing, staging, and refining the piece, allowing students to experience the full process of creating a performance together.
The result is a class that feels energetic, inclusive, creative, and community-oriented, while giving students a genuine introduction to musical theatre and the confidence to perform as an ensemble.
Dress Code: Casual activewear is recommended for this class. Students should wear socks on their feet and have long hair pulled off their face.
