Welcome to Atlantika Dance! By using our website, registering for classes, or participating in our programs, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone in our dance community.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or enrolling in any Atlantika Dance program, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable studio policies.

2. Registration & Required Forms

Registration is completed through our online registration system and is considered complete only when all required forms have been submitted.

  • Medical Information Form
  • Emergency Contact Information

Failure to submit these required forms may result in delayed enrollment or the inability to participate in classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, or studio events until all documentation has been received.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Tuition and applicable fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided during registration.
  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
  • Returned or declined payments may incur administrative charges.
  • Outstanding balances may affect participation in classes, performances, competitions, or future registrations.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • Tuition refunds or credits are subject to Atlantika Dance’s Refund Policy.
  • Missed classes due to illness, vacations, weather, or personal scheduling conflicts are generally non-refundable.
  • Atlantika Dance reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or combine classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Attendance

Regular attendance is essential to a dancer’s progress and success. Families are required to notify the studio of planned absences whenever possible.

6. Health & Safety

To help maintain a safe environment for all participants:

  • Dancers should not attend classes while experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
  • Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or health concerns that may affect participation.
  • Medical information and emergency contacts must be kept current throughout the dance season.
  • Atlantika Dance reserves the right to restrict participation if a medical condition or injury presents a safety concern.

7. Code of Conduct

Atlantika Dance is committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for dancers, families, instructors, staff, and volunteers.

All participants agree to follow the Student Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations for respectful behaviour to everyone in the class including the dance professional leading the class, preservation of the long history of discipline of dance, attendance, and studio etiquette.

Harassment, bullying, discrimination, abusive language, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Atlantika Dance reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation when behaviour negatively impacts the safety, learning environment, or well-being of others.

8. Photography & Video

As part of the registration process, families will complete a Photo & Video Release Form indicating their consent preferences.

Photographs and videos may be captured during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and studio events for educational, promotional, marketing, and social media purposes, subject to the permissions granted on the signed release form.

11. Limitation of Liability

Participation in dance, fitness activities, performances, and related events involves inherent physical risks.

By registering, participants acknowledge these risks and agree that the required Liability Waiver & Release Form forms part of the enrollment agreement. Atlantika Dance, its owners, instructors, employees, and volunteers shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal property arising from participation in studio activities, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
