Dance for Young Children

Classes Offered:

Our Tiny Dancers program is the perfect introduction to dance for toddlers ages 2–3, accompanied by a parent or guardian. This fun and engaging 30-minute parent-and-child dance class provides a welcoming environment where little ones can explore movement, music, and creativity while building confidence alongside someone they trust.

Designed specifically for early childhood development, each class encourages children to develop essential gross motor skills, balance, coordination, rhythm, and body awareness through imaginative movement, music, games, and simple dance activities. Dancers will also begin learning how to follow instructions, participate in a group setting, and interact with other children, helping to build important social and communication skills.

Our experienced instructors create a positive, playful atmosphere where every child can learn at their own pace. Parents and guardians actively participate in class, making it a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child while celebrating their milestones and growing independence.

Tiny Dancers is more than just a dance class—it’s a foundation for lifelong learning and movement. By introducing dance in a fun, supportive environment, children gain confidence, develop a love for music and physical activity, and prepare for future independent dance classes as they grow.

Dress Code: Dancers and accompanying adults should wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Socks or bare feet are recommended for both children and parents during class.

Creative Movement is the perfect first step into the world of dance for young children ages 3–4. This engaging and imaginative class introduces children to the fundamentals of dance in a fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate environment. Through music, movement, storytelling, and creative exploration, dancers begin developing important physical and social skills while building a love for dance.

Our Creative Movement classes focus on developing coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, rhythm, and musicality through structured activities designed specifically for young dancers. Children explore movement concepts such as space, timing, and body awareness while learning how to express themselves through dance. Each class incorporates storytelling, props, games, and a variety of musical styles to inspire creativity and keep young dancers engaged.

In addition to physical development, Creative Movement helps children build confidence, independence, listening skills, and the ability to participate in a group setting. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to make new friends, gain confidence, and experience the joy of movement in a supportive dance studio environment.

This class provides an excellent foundation for future dance training, preparing students for more structured ballet, jazz, and other dance programs as they grow.
